Welcome To
First Baptist Church

10-13-2024.pdf

When we gather as the body of Christ, we gather to remind one another of the love that Christ has shown us and to help each other stay true to Jesus who died in our place. We also hope to share the good news about Jesus with those who have never believed on Him. If you have never trusted Christ and would like to, please give us the privilege of sharing more with you, you can contact the church office and Bro. John will respond to you, or you can gather with us when we gather.

What to Expect

We understand visiting a new church can be confusing and a bit overwhelming. This section is our attempt to help answer questions you may have before your visit in order to make you as comfortable as possible. Our hope is that your visit with us will deepen your relationship to God through His Son Jesus. If there are any questions, we have not answered, please feel free to call or email us as well.

What to Wear?

We're more concerned with finding out the best way we can help you connect with God than what you wear. Most people at FBC will dress in casual weekend attire, with some wearing suits, some jeans, some dresses, some slacks or something similar. Dress how you feel comfortable, and you will fit right in.

What about Kids?

We offer nursery for babies and toddlers as well as Children's Church during the preaching service. Children stay with their parents during song service then are dismissed to children's church toward the middle of the service. On the last Sunday of each month children stay for the entire service.

What happens during the worship service?

Worship service begins at 10:50 and runs until around 12:00. The service begins with a short time of announcements followed by a time of greeting one another and singing during the first song. After the first song we enter a time of singing praises to the Lord. After which we hear from God's Word during the seron portion of the service. Brinkley First Baptist is committed to the preaching of God's Word. At the end of the service, we sing two songs to provide ample opportunity for response and reflection on the Word of God.

We do have an offering box near the front entrance if you would like to support the ministry at First Baptist Church.
